How do I create an account?
Download TripThread from the App Store and sign in with your Apple ID. Your account will be created instantly with your Apple email and name.
How do I reset my password?
Since TripThread uses Sign in with Apple, your password is managed by Apple. Use your Apple ID password to sign in. If you forget your Apple ID password, reset it through your device settings.
How do I delete my account?
- Open TripThread on your device
- Go to your Profile
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion
Note: Account deletion is permanent. All your data will be removed within 30 days.
How do I upload videos?
From the bottom navigation, tap "+" to create a new thread or post. You can upload photos or videos from your camera roll or take new ones directly from the app. Videos are limited to 1 minute in the free version.
How do I find travelers at my destination?
Use the "Discover" tab to browse destinations, or search for your destination in the search bar. Join destination-specific threads to connect with other travelers going to the same place.
What are the benefits of Premium?
Premium users ($4.99/month) get:
- Unlimited video uploads (no 1-minute limit)
- Advanced search filters
- Exclusive profile badges
- Ad-free experience
- Priority notifications
How do I upgrade to Premium?
Go to your Profile → Settings → Upgrade to Premium. Choose the monthly subscription ($4.99/month) and confirm with Apple's subscription management. You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Tap the three dots on any post or user profile, then select "Report." Choose the reason for reporting and submit. Our team reviews reports within 24 hours.
How do I block someone?
Go to the user's profile, tap the three dots, and select "Block." You won't see their content or messages, and they can't contact you.
Technical Issues
App crashes on launch
Try these steps:
- Update to the latest iOS version
- Update TripThread to the latest version
- Restart your device
- Delete and reinstall the app (your data is safe in the cloud)
If the issue persists, contact support with your device model and iOS version.
Can't sign in
Make sure you're connected to the internet and that Sign in with Apple is enabled in your device settings. If you still can't sign in, contact support with your Apple ID email.
Content not loading
Check your internet connection. If connection is good, try:
- Pull to refresh on the feed
- Close and reopen the app
- Restart your device
